Early today, an accident involving two BRT buses shook the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, near the Danco Filling Station, just by the BRT lane. The collision left several passengers injured, and the incident has stirred quite the conversation among Lagosians, particularly those familiar with the chaotic nature of this route.
From what we've gathered, both buses were traveling on the BRT-designated lane when they collided head-on—an unfortunate event that could’ve been a lot worse. While it’s not clear what caused the accident, speculation is already floating around about possible human error or mechanical issues. Ambulances quickly got to the scene of the accident and ferred affected individuals to hospitals with whatever injuries they had sustained. Several passengers were visibly shaken during the crash; some fainted, eyewitnesses and fellow passengers said at the scene.
