| Activist refuses to delete tweet despite DSS threats. |
Na wa o! The Department of State Services (DSS) has entered another wahala with activist and Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore. This time, they’re demanding he delete a tweet where he called President Bola Tinubu a “criminal” for claiming corruption ended in Nigeria . But Sowore, ever the fearless critic, fired back with a documented statement calling the DSS demand “unlawful, unconstitutional, and dictatorial” .
For those who don’t know, Sowore isn’t new to government harassment. Since 2019, he’s faced arrests, detentions, and even torture for speaking truth to power .
