Then there’s this whole NYSC thing. They promised to increase the allowance for corp members to 77,000 Naira. But guess what? NYSC themselves came out and said it’s all fake news! Another day, another round of false hope. And don’t even get us started on the 5,000 Naira rice handouts and gas cylinder drama in Anambra State. I mean, it’s nice, but what happens when the gas runs out? Where’s the long-term solution? 🤷🏽♂️
Verydarkman hit the nail on the head when he pointed out that the real problem isn’t rice or gas—it’s the fact that Nigeria is importing everything and exporting nothing! We have resources, but the only time the government thinks about the youth is during election season, when they need people to cause chaos or steal ballot papers. 🤦🏾♂️
Imagine if the government actually empowered the youth gave them land, legal backing to produce and export crops like hemp (which is legal in many countries now), and helped them build businesses. We wouldn’t be stuck in this cycle of dependency. We’d be making real money, not just scraping by. But hey, until then, we’re stuck asking, "Federal Government, where’s your rice shop?" 😏
