While the country faces serious issues, these leaders are out "relaxing" or "seeking treatment" abroad. Is this the leadership we deserve?
Tinubu is in France, Shettima is off in Sweden—meanwhile, our healthcare system is collapsing, our professionals are fleeing, and our infrastructure? Don’t even get me started. Verydarkman was right to point out that if these leaders are so comfortable living their best lives abroad, why can't they make Nigeria the kind of place they’d want to stay in?
It's honestly disgraceful. Every day, Nigerians are stuck in traffic, fighting for buses that don’t exist, while our leaders are enjoying the smooth systems in other countries. They sit back, watch as doctors and nurses leave Nigeria because they can't get paid what they're worth, and still... nothing changes.
Verydarkman’s frustration is shared by so many of us. If Tinubu and Shettima spent half the time they use traveling on fixing the healthcare system, building infrastructure, and creating opportunities for our professionals, Nigeria would be in a much better place. But no—they pack our money and go abroad, leaving us to fend for ourselves in this mess.
