Lagos Court Orders VeryDarkMan to Delete Defamatory Posts on Falana Family.

Court Orders Removal Of Defamatory Content By Verydarkman Against Falana

In a turn of events that's been making waves on social media, the Lagos State High Court has delivered a stern judgment against Martin Otse, the popular online figure known as VeryDarkMan. He’s been ordered to take down all defamatory videos and comments targeted at renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and his son, Folarin Falana.

This court ruling followed the heated online controversy where VeryDarkMan made some serious allegations against the Falana family, sparking major public reactions. Now, with the court’s intervention, he's not only required to delete the offensive content but is also barred from making any future remarks about the Falanas.

The decision establishes a guideline, for how the legal system's handling defamation lawsuits in Nigeria nowadays. Especially with the rise of social media that often blurs the distinction, between free speech and defamation.
