The current meeting of the AFRIPOL Steering Committee, in Algiers convenes prominent police officials from countries with Nigerias Inspector General of Police being present as well – Kayode Egbetokun leading the delegation from Nigeria.The primary goal of this gathering is to address challenges such, as terrorism and cybercrime that transcend borders and affect every nation on the continent.
Representing West Africa, IGP Egbetokun emphasized regional integration as the key to addressing these transnational issues. Leaders discussed strategies to strengthen cooperation and share expertise, aiming to create a safer, more connected Africa.
