House Committee to Visit Lagos Offices of EFCC and Nigeria Correctional Service Amid Corruption Allegations

The House of Representatives Committee is preparing to pay a visit, to the Lagos branches of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) scheduled for October 21st in the year 2024\. This planned visit comes in response to allegations of corruption, within these organizations based on accusations put forth by the crossdresser Idris Okuneye who is widely recognized as Bobrisky.


These allegations surfaced through a leaked phone conversation that caught the attention of social media influencer Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan. This dramatic revelation has propelled the committee to take action, aiming to shed light on the accusations and restore public confidence in these institutions.


Ginger Onwusibe, the Chairman of the investigating committee, shared insights with The PUNCH about the purpose of their visit. It’s part of a broader investigation into claims that Bobrisky allegedly paid N15 million to have money laundering charges against him dropped.
