Governor Umo Eno, from Akwa Ibom State is gearing up to launch 72 projects this November as part of a year dedicated to enhancing the well being of residents in all 31 government areas. Celebrating his year, in office recently the governor underscored the significance of these projects aligned with his administrations ARISE Agenda that prioritizes development and social support systems for disadvantaged groups.
Eno’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure is evident through his initiative of one project per local government area, which has already seen significant progress. As he gears up for this inauguration, the governor aims to further strengthen community engagement and address pressing issues like food security. His government has stepped in to help stabilize food prices by taking action, in supply chains that have helped than 208000 families with initiatives aimed at assisting those, in need and at risk.
Enthusiastic, about promoting harmony and collaboration Ema also urged leaders to work across party lines and prioritize the well being of the public above partisan interests. His leadership philosophy stresses that governance transcends party lines, aiming to create a more cohesive society for all Akwa Ibomites .
With these upcoming projects, the governor hopes to continue making strides toward a better future for the state, reinforcing the belief that development should reach every corner, especially rural areas.
