So apparently, some of the #Endbadgovernance protesters have been slapped with treason charges 😱. In Nigeria, we no dey play with this one—treason isn’t beans o. If convicted, the penalty fit even be de^th (yes, I said it!). This is no joke.
Martins Vincent Otse, aka Verydarkman, made the revelation in his latest video. He dey talk say the government no go take am easy with anybody wey dem believe cross line during these protests. Imagine being part of a movement wey dey fight for change, only to wake up one day and boom 💥, you’re facing the worst kind of charges. Wetin person go do?
Let’s think about this for a second. How e reach this level? These young Nigerians are fighting for a better life, asking the government to do the needful. Dem no deserve this kain treatment now 😤. The message dey clear: this na intimidation. But is it working? I no think so! Instead of silencing dem, it only dey make more people raise voice louder for justice. Is this really the way to handle protests?
If we look at this thing critically, na serious wahala. But let's not just jump to conclusions without looking at all sides. On one hand, protesters believe they’re exercising their right, but on the other hand, the government dey claim say their actions get serious implications. This kind of balance no easy at all.
