Verydarkman Applauds Minister Tunji-Ojo's Swift Action Amid Bobrisky Controversy

Nigerian activist Verydarkman took to social media recently to show some love to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for stepping up and suspending officers allegedly involved in the whole Bobrisky debacle. Verydarkman’s post was a mix of admiration and cautious optimism, and you can’t help but feel his relief at seeing a politician actually doing something concrete for a change.

“Egbon, you’ve proven yourself to me before, and here you go again,” he wrote, expressing his appreciation for the minister's quick response. But in true Verydarkman fashion, he didn’t hold back from adding a cheeky reminder that, well, politicians can switch up on you anytime. So, for now, Tunji-Ojo is his guy, but he’s got his eye on him, just in case.

It’s not often you see this kind of public acknowledgment, especially from someone like Verydarkman, who’s known for calling out the government on its BS. His post is a breath of fresh air in a space where we’re all used to empty promises and blame games. And honestly, if this small action from Tunji-Ojo can get people like Verydarkman to tip their hat, it says something, right?

But let’s keep our heads on straight—this is just one step. As Verydarkman hinted, we can’t start dancing yet. Politicians have a funny way of turning tables when you least expect it. So, while we’re all for giving credit where it’s due, we are also going to keep watching, waiting, and hoping this isn’t just another flash in the pan.
