Minister Nyesom Wike / Verydarkman |
Currently, all eyes are on Life Camp by Minister’s Gate Roundabout, Abuja, where Verydarkman, the voice of reason many of us didn’t know we needed, has brought a critical issue to light. And honestly? His outrage is every bit justified.
Nyesom Wike has allegedly sent in bulldozers to seize land that legally belongs to Colonel Paul Ogbebor, a man who isn’t just another name but the first Nigerian cadet of the NDA (Code 001, no less!). This is someone who took three bullets in the civil war for Nigeria, yet here we are, watching injustice play out like a bad Nollywood script.
Verydarkman didn’t hold back in his recent video, calling on military bigwigs—majors, generals, senior officers—to step up and do the right thing. And he’s right. If this can happen to a national hero with a legal allocation document dating back to 1984, what stops it from happening to anyone else?
The allegations are heavy. The land has reportedly been reallocated to a company tied to Wike’s Port Harcourt hotel ventures, with shares allegedly handed out to Kingsley Chinda, the Minority Leader in the House of Representatives. Verydarkman has labelled it a national disgrace, and honestly? He’s not wrong.
To the Nigerian Armed Forces: are you really going to let this slide? Because, as Verydarkman pointed out, this could be any of you tomorrow. It’s more than just land; it’s about respect, justice, and protecting the legacies of those who fought for this nation.
This isn’t just a video rant. It’s a call to action. The question is, are we listening?
