Verydarkman’s Message to Nigerian Youth: Say No to Vote Buying

Martins Vincent Otse aka verydarkman

Recently, Nigerian activist Verydarkman dropped some hard truths in his latest video, and honestly? It’s the wake-up call we need. He’s seen how too many politicians and so called influencers try to use Nigeria’s youth as tools pushing their own agenda while leaving the people to struggle. He’s not mincing words either; he’s urging the youth to resist these tactics, especially with election season around the corner.

Let’s be real why should anyone sell out their vote to people who aren’t even living through the same daily struggles? Look at food prices, look at fuel costs, look at how the naira is barely holding its own. These aren’t just numbers on a news ticker; they’re daily struggles that the youth feel deep. But for the ones in power? They’ve got it easy. They’re well-fed, well-connected, and out of touch with what the average Nigerian faces every day.

Verydarkman gets it. He’s tired of seeing young Nigerians caught in the same cycle of poverty and desperation, making them easy targets during elections. These politicians know that if people are hungry, they’re more likely to take quick handouts and vote in a certain direction. But, as Verydarkman passionately points out, that quick money isn’t worth the future you’ll have to live with.

The youth have an incredible power to push back, to refuse to be used, and to hold out for real change. Imagine what would happen if everyone said no to the vote buyers, if every young Nigerian remembered what these people have put them through. Remember the hunger, the economic strain, the broken promises, and refuse to let anyone buy your future. Verydarkman’s words are a call to action a reminder that we deserve better and that our votes are too valuable to be sold off for cheap.
