Hunger, floods, and government silence—Verydarkman questions the real plans for Nigeria’s youth.

Flood-affected children in Borno, Nigeria, waiting for relief aid amid destroyed homes

You know, sometimes it feels like we're living in some sort of alternate reality. Verydarkman said it perfectly in his recent video y’all can drop over 70 million naira just to fuel a vanity project for Bobrisky, but when it comes to kids whose lives have been wrecked by floods, it’s like everyone forgot their wallets at home. Where’s that same energy now? 🤷🏿‍♂️

These kids are hungry. Am not talking about missing a meal here and there. They lost their homes, their sense of security, and worst of all, their hope. This flood didn’t just sweep away belongings it is sweeping away futures, and instead of helping, we’re out here funding frivolous things like birthday parties and endorsements. How does that make sense?

Let’s talk about the Vice President, Kashim Shettima. Remember that rice donation for Borno? Supposedly a big deal. But wait… has anyone actually *seen* this rice? Or is it another case of “audio” donations that never really existed? Because, let’s be real talk is cheap. While they’re out there making these grand gestures, children are sitting in floodwaters, starving, waiting for food that might never come. It’s disheartening, to say the least. 💭

Verydarkman hit the nail on the head if this situation doesn’t get sorted fast, we’re in for a much bigger crisis. Hunger is not just a temporary inconvenience. When you leave young, vulnerable people in desperate conditions, you’re setting the stage for a much larger security issue. It’s like playing with fire. Nigeria doesn’t need more unrest, but that’s exactly where we’re headed if we don’t take care of these kids now.

And let’s not get it twisted this isn’t just about rice or food. This is about accountability. If we can pool millions for social media personalities, why can’t we do the same for the future of our country? It’s not about what you post online or how much you donate in theory. It’s about real action on the ground. We got to stop treating these kids like background noise and start focusing on actual solutions.

The question is, how many more of these disasters do we have to go through before we get our priorities straight? If we don’t fix this, the consequences will be on all of us. So, what do you think? Can we finally make the shift from vanity to real value, or are we going to keep turning a blind eye? Drop your thoughts.
