Cry for Aid: VeryDarkMan Calls for Help After Devastating Maiduguri Floods Leave Millions Stranded

Maiduguri Flood: VeryDarkMan’s Urgent Plea for Global Assistance
Martins Vincent Otse

Imagine being stuck in the middle of the night as disaster strikes this was the grim reality for millions in Maiduguri when a massive flood hit at 2 AM on September 10, 2024. The flood didn’t just destroy homes and businesses; it washed away hope, leaving over two million people homeless and trapped in unimaginable suffering. 😢

One of the most heart-wrenching losses was the destruction of the top cancer hospital in West Africa. This hospital, a lifeline for hundreds of patients from across the region, was reduced to nothing. No oxygen, no emergency labs, and no power it’s as if the city’s core was ripped apart overnight. Now, imagine being a patient or family member, clinging to hope in an already vulnerable place, only to see it swept away by floodwaters. 💔

Activist "VeryDarkMan" didn’t stay silent on this. Known for his fierce advocacy, he has come forward to raise global awareness. In his own words, this flood is not just about the physical devastation it’s a human tragedy that compounds the existing challenges Maiduguri has faced for years. From poverty to Boko Haram's terror, the people here have fought endless battles, but this flood has pushed them to the brink.

VeryDarkMan took to social media with a heartfelt plea, calling out the authorities for their negligence and urging the global community to come together. “Maiduguri has suffered enough,” he writes. “This flood is a cry for help. Reach out however you can.” 🌍

The emergency systems in the city? Completely wiped out. There’s no immediate response. No resources. No help. It’s as if Maiduguri has been abandoned. This is where VeryDarkMan’s voice rings out the loudest, echoing the cries of the people who have nothing left but hope and prayer. 🙏

Let’s come together and show that we care. Donations, prayers, or even just sharing this message it all helps. The people of Maiduguri are resilient, but they need us now more than ever.
